Schedule Your Orientation - ONLINE FORM

The Cerritos College Librarians offer one-hour library instruction sessions designed to support the research needs of your students and to support the acquisition of information literacy competency.  See more information about instructional services provided at the library.

To schedule a session for your class, please pick a date and time and complete the form below. Remember:

  • Orientation requests should be made at least three weeks in advance. If the time you want is unavailable, or if you need to schedule a session less than three weeks in advance, please contact Lorraine Gersitz at ext. 2414 or lgersitz@cerritos.edu.
  • We request that you be present during the orientation so that you can help connect the session to your class curriculum.
  • Library instruction sessions are more effective if students are working on a specific research assignment for your class and if they have a deadine that requires they complete some research shortly after the session.

You will receive an email confirmation immediately after submitting your request. The librarian assigned to teach your class will also email you within a week, confirming your session time/date and to get more information about your class and your research assignment.  Eight days prior to your class, you will receive an auto-reminder that will confirm the location of the session.
