You will be writing a short paper answering the following questions:

  • What interests you about the field of speech-language pathology?
  • Why did you choose this career path?
  • What population do you feel you would like to work with at this time, and why?
  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
  • What do you need to do to meet your 5-year goal?
  • When answering these questions, please make sure your sentences, paragraphs, and writing structure flow well, and are a cohesive paper.

Use APA formatting, Times New Roman 12 pt font, and cite at least one source for your reference page. Responses should be at least 1 page double-spaced, but no more than 1 ½ pages.

Annotated Bibliography

This assignment will require you to search for 3 peer-reviewed articles related to the field of speech-language pathology, and within a specialty of your choice (e.g., stuttering, speech sound disorders, bilingualism, autism, etc.).

Use the various Cerritos Library databases for peer-reviewed articles.
