Campus Resources for Students

There are various resources available to you as a Cerritos College Student. These resources will help you accomplish your goals – academic, career, and personal. Links to a few of those resources are listed below:

  1. Career Services             
    The mission of Career Services is to provide services to students as they transition into, through and out of the college in a supportive, welcoming and engaging environment.
  2. Cerritos College Library
    The College Library is located in the west wing of the Wilford Michael Library and Learning Resource Center. It is the portal to finding research materials in books, magazine and journal articles, streaming videos, and more.
  3. Computer Services
    Information about available Library Computer Services. Use the Computer LabChat to communicate with Library Computer Services staff.
  4. Academic Counseling 
    The Counseling Department is dedicated to assisting students in developing transitional skills to help them achieve success in their academic, career, and life goals in an inclusive environment that embraces the diversity of our students and community.

  5. Cerritos Complete (a California College Promise Program)
    A student success initiative that focuses on our students’ pledge to earn and complete their degrees or certificates on time.
  6. Re-Entry Resource Program
    The Re-Entry Resource Program is available to assist and support adult students returning to school after a gap in their education. 
  7. Safe Zone
    The Safe Zone Network is a group of community college members who are committed to addressing issues of importance and safety to the LGBT community through education and advocacy.
  8. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) [formerly Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS)]
    Students with limitations due to a disability may receive support services and instruction from Student Accessibility Services (SAS). 
  9. Student Clubs and Organizations
    Cerritos College offers a variety of clubs and organizations for every phase of campus life.
  10. Student Health Services
    The Student Health Services Center provides students of Cerritos College the opportunity to have professional medical services at a low cost. Their goal is to help students achieve and maintain optimum physical, mental, and emotional health.
  11. Success Center   
    The Success Center is part of a campus support system designed to provide services and information to students who want to acquire, improve, review, or maintain personal learning skills. The Center offers tutoring sessions and regularly scheduled workshops that can help students accomplish their goals.
  12. Veterans Resource Center
    The Veterans Resource Center is an initiative to nurture a welcoming campus culture for veteran students.
