Country Profile - Professor Obazuaye: Your Assignment - Country Report

There will be one group research paper assignment of 6-7 pages (not including bibliography page) required for this course.

The purpose of this assignment is to give students the opportunity to learn about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which is the commitment made by the world’s heads of State and Government to “End Poverty by 2030” by collectively taking responsibility to uphold the principles of human dignity, equality and equity at the global level.

 Part 1

Think about which country and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) that you would like to research. Country profile (2-4 typed pages, double space, number pages, stapled).

Part 2 

Develop your thesis statement and an outline for your paper. Begin to collect articles for your bibliography. Some of these articles will be used in your final project. 

• Find articles that focus on your selected country within the United Nations as well as in the global political arena.
• How does this country plan to achieve the SDG you're interested in.
• How does it respond to demands for reform?

Part 3 

Final report (6-7 pages, typed, double space, number pages, stapled). 

• Both will need a list of references. Begin to collect your resources early!
• Review the MLA Works Cited guide or APA Style guide.
