ENG 100 - Professor Crozier - Freshman Composition: Your Assignment

Your ENG100 Research Guide

Hello From Your Librarian!

My name is Karen Vogel and I'm your Embedded Librarian. This research guide was created for Professor Crozier's Eng 100 class to help you with your research assignments. It lists library resources you can also use throughout the semester to help you get more information on the topics that you're discussing and writing about in this class. The guide will be available all semester on the library's Research Guides page and from the index in your Canvas site. I'll be adding more information as the semester goes on and your assignments become due. I'm here to help. Just chat with me when I'm online or email me any time.

What You Need to Know

Understanding Your Assignment

Before you begin looking for information you should make sure you understand your assignment. Some good questions are:

  • How many pages?
  • How many sources?
  • What kinds of sources?
    • Books
    • Articles
    • Websites
  • What format?

Your professor is your best resource to answer these questions.
