Getting Reliable Information for Your College Research Papers


Your Research Assignment

  • Watch the full length ballet "Don Quixote"
  • Write a personal response (At least four paragraphs)


Guidelines:

  • The time and place that this story takes place? 
  • What can you say regarding the music and choreography?
  • How effective is this full length ballet in telling a story given there is no spoken word?
  • Do you recognize the ballet vocabulary as similar to what we are using in our class this semester?
  • What stands out to you regarding the dancing by the various individuals including not only the Principals but Soloists and Corps de Ballet.
  • Pick 1 or 2 moments that really stood out in your memory (it might be useful to write down while watching the video!) What did you see? What effect did the movement have?
