Your Assignment

In this class you're reading Albert Camus' The Plague and Eula Bliss' On Immunity.

You're being asked to consider how Camus' plague compares to what we're going through with COVID-19.  You'll need to look at literary criticism of Camus' work as well as find authoritative or reliable sources for information on vaccines, statistics on COVID, etc.

You should use reliable sources in your paper. Some of these might be traditionally scholarly sources, especially when you're looking at The Plague.  But we're not done with COVID yet, so there will be lots of good popular sources to consider when researching COVID and what it has meant for our lives.  These might be editorials, commentaries, magazine pieces, videos, or podcasts.

You'll need to make sure those sources are authoritative, meaning reliable and accurate.
